George Riding is a Nottingham based Furniture and Product Designer who divides his time between design projects and academic responsibilities at Nottingham Trent University.
Graduating with a degree in Three Dimensional Design: Product and Furniture from Northumbria University, George started his own practice following a short term stint working for award winning lighting and interior designer Lee Broom in London.
George has since worked on projects across multiple disciplines, while staying true to his ethos. Challenge the ordinary and familiar in order to create special objects that deepen our relationship with the everyday by appealing to our visceral and behavioural desires. Creating a world that is more beautiful to wake up to and more enjoyable to experience.
